Together with Hendrix Genetics we’ve been selecting and breeding Black Soldier Fly larvae with desirable qualities. In just 2 years of running the genetic improvement program, a large-scale and fully automated production trial was done at our production facilities in the Netherlands.  An average improvement was found of:
·       39% heavier larvae
·       32% more protein harvested per crate
·       21% more fat harvested per crate

Feeding the world became a bit more effective, while using the same resources.
